Fátima Gismero

Gismero was Revelation Cakemaker at Madrid Fusión 2021.

Born in Guadalajara, grand-daughter and daughter of bakers, Gismero has not ceased in her studies since at the age of 16 she started out at the Official Cakemaking School in Madrid and moved on to the Barcelona Guild's Cakemaking School. She also learned her trade with big names in the profession such as Carles Mampel, Paco Torreblanca and Jordi Roca.

In 2011 she joined Solé Graells, teaching and managing operations in its educational "Aula", which introduced her to the world of molecular cuisine, whereupon she became the person demonstrating the texture techniques of the Adrià brothers and Aduriz. Last year she was Revelation Cakemaker at Madrid Fusión 2021. She runs her own bakery in her village, Pioz, in Guadalajara.
